Fuel Terminal
The Neumann Petroleum bulk terminal is located in Eagle Farm and connected by pipeline directly to the maritime wharf on the Brisbane River. Established on 5.4 hectares, the terminal contains more than 45 million litres of multi-product storage facilities.
The terminal consists of a major storage tank farm and provides four multi-product vehicle-loading gantries for quick filling of road tanker transport vehicles.
Expansion plans are in place for the terminal, including a new 15 million litre diesel storage tank and a new oil pipeline to Pinkenba to allow for larger ship imports. Construction is due to commence on these projects in 2008.
